WHAT HAPPENS IN WINTER?

Winter is an opportunity for a school or community group to experience Mittagundi's unique 'ski tour and farm stay' programs.  These programs operate from July through August and can be 6, 7 or 9 days in length. Participants will cross country ski, snow camp, cook and eat in pioneer huts and contribute to farm life at Mittagundi's 400 acre property.

Mittagundi is way more than a school camp or farm stay, it is an opportunity to experience simple healthy living. Mittagundi programs are like no other in the sense that they provide a unique chance for young people to actually live without their phones, computers or indeed any electricity or modern conveniences. This builds their resilience, capabilities and confidence and allows for some much needed “time out”. At Mittagundi young people engage with their peers and explore themselves in an open, honest and personable way.
