Meet our team. Such an energetic and proffessional bunch.

Likes: Green and yellow, Crunchy hot chips with salt, Australia and quiet places, any music with a good dance beat, dancing, musicals, singing while I work meeting new people and laughter. Has a cat called mittens, loves all animals. Dislikes: violence and cruelty.
Why Mittagundi? Great place and great people working together for a common good.
I think Mittagundi was in lucky when the word nudged Lizzy about our opportunities for leaders in the Glen Valley. She has arrived in the Glen Valley from a background in Social Sciences, Permculture and Wooffing on organic farms. Her solid character, passion for the simple, hard working life and interest in young people sets her in good stead for the year ahead. Perth born originally but now home in the South East State, Lizzy has a practicality with a love of all puns (some may say bad humour but very appreciated here) and interest in food systems and production she is right in her element and at home in Mittagundi.
Commonly known as Caz Likes, The greens of the Australian bush and the burnt earth orange of the Kimberly coastlines, freshly caught and cooked mitta trout, early mornings by the Mittagundi dam, funky folkin’ rootsy tunes, strolling along the beach, traveling, star gazing and day dreaming, laughter and bad jokes and warm wooly socks. Dislikes: Lizzy’s sense of humor!
Why Mittagundi? After years of traveling and sunbaking on quite beaches I was looking for something with a bit more purpose and direction combined with adventure and personal challenges! I reckon I have Hit the Jackpot!
I’m a 27 year old perennial student, born in Ireland, raised on the mornington peninsula, Melbourne. I’ve an interest in the natural world, mythology, story telling and people! The natural beauty of wild country, the chance to work with young people and the philosophy of caring for people and the earth that Mittagundi embodies have drawn me to this amzing place.
G'day my name is Thomas. Orgininally from the King Valley. Last couple of weeks have been great and looking forward to the year ahead, shared with a brilliant group. look forward to seeing you up here for a cuppa.
Can’t quite believe her luck to find the dream job and home all in one! Originally a Mittagundi young person and since then an Outdoor Educator for many years. She is a hard working, early morning bird, up and at it to see the sunlight stream over the Knocker and light all the mist. Excited, passionate and keen to be a key part of Mittagundi’s engine for the next couple of years. Jac finds constant inspiration in incredible young people and the amazing team she works with. She is also a bit of a nanna with a great love for spinning wool, letter writing and teapots!
